It is a well -documented fact that Donald Trump has convinced himself many of his supporters that tariffs are a fantasy arrangement for the economy. Trump does not understand that tariffs are not paid by foreign countries but by US consumers.
Trump has not been dissuaded by the reality that his first wave of tariffs is bringing the country closer to a recession, and accelerated his American economic destruction campaign by announcing that he will soon point to prescription medications and raise the price of Americans even more.
While talking at the Oval office, Trump said:
