Jeffrey Goldberg del Atlántico He wrote a detailed story about how Trump administration officials accidentally included him in a group talk about the signal on the next US military strikes in Yemen.
Incompetence and negligence are amazing, so it was not a surprise when Trump was asked about this situation in the White House.
A journalist asked: “His reaction to history, the Atlantic who said that some of the main officials and assistants of his cabinet have been discussing very sensitive material through the signal and included an Atlantic reporter for that. What is your answer to that?”
Trump replied: “I don’t know anything about it. I am not a great admirer of the Atlantic. It is, for me, it is a magazine that comes out of business. I think it’s not a great magazine, but I don’t know anything about it.”
The journalist tried to continue: “You are saying that they had what they were, they were using a signal to coordinate on sensitive materials.”
Trump was confused and seemed to have no idea what sign was, “to have to do with what? Do you have to do with what? What were they talking about with the hutis?”
Trump continued: “The hutis? Do you mean the attack on the hutis? Well, it couldn’t have been very effective because the attack was very effective. I can tell you that. I don’t know anything about it. You are telling me for the first time.”
