We are wrong about Trump and tariffs. It could be true that Trump has no idea how rates really work. The situation is more serious than Trump that does not understand rates. Trump has built a delusional fantasy world where he has reinvented American economic history, and that illusion is guiding the economy of the United States.

They established the Income Tax so that citizens instead of foreign countries began paying the money necessary to administer our government. Then, in 1929, everything reached a very abrupt end with great depression, and would never have happened. If they had stayed with the rate policy, it would have been a very different story.
