Blackpool, England-Wrexham returned to the driver’s seat for the promotion of third level English football after a crispy 2-1 victory over Blackpool on Monday.
The victory on the road took Wrexham to the two best places in the League one for automatic promotion.
After a defeat of Wycombe Wanderers, Wrexham was two points above Wycombe’s third place with two rounds to travel. Birmingham City has already secured the title of the League.
Celebrity Rob Mcelheny’s co -owner was one of Wrexham’s 2,000 supporters at the visiting end to see his team break the dead point in the time brand.
James McClean’s opening score through a box full of people was duplicate three minutes later by Oll Rathbone. Blackpool scored in the detention time, but Wrexham remained.
Wrexham’s undefeated streak extended to eight games, since he looks for a third consecutive promotion.
Two years ago, the Welsh club was in the National League of Fifth Level, but has increased through the England’s football pyramid thanks to the cash injection of Mcelheny and Ryan Reynolds.
