On the smart television market, it is difficult to beat Xiaomi in terms of value. Like its smartphones, Xiaomi was also aggressive with prices for its smart televisions. This has helped the brand climb the intelligent television scale since its launch in India. Xiaomi has now introduced iterative updates from its X -Pro Qled series, which was launched last year. With its 2025 models, the brand now aims to democratize another functionality. I was lucky to try the new televisions for a short time, and here are my first impressions.

During the briefing, I had the chance to discover the 65 inch variant of the X Pro Qled TV. Its design remains the same as before. It still has the same lean metal telescope surrounding the solid screen. Apart from the 43 inch and 55 inch options, I was told that the TV will also be launched in a smaller variant of 32 inch. The smaller display means that it will be offered at an even lower price, which will make the QLED TV more accessible than it is already.

There is a new remote control. He has rounded sides, which makes him more comfortable. It is also much larger than the previous one. Xiaomi has added a digital pavement and obtains new Rgyb buttons below.

The slim design of the TV is now accompanied by consonance integrated box speakers. Xiaomi examined comments on the previous series and improved audio delivery from the TV. The brand claims that these offer better sound compared to previous models, but in terms of power, the 43-inch model remains the same as before, which is 30 W on paper. The 55 inch and 65 inch models get a slight boost at 34 W.

Audio quality was sufficiently noisy, clear and immersive during my short experiential session. Indeed, it seemed to be that he did not need an optional sound bar. But again, I listened and watched a film in a very controlled environment of the studio type.

The panels have changed … Finally, in a way. Screens that generally operate at 60 Hz can now, thanks to DLG (double -line door) technology, double their cooling rate if necessary. Xiaomi claims that it is useful when searching for sports (with improved movement) or when connected to a console to play games that support high refresh rates. Xiaomi offers 4K 120Hz panels on the three models. However, keep in mind that DLG reduces panel resolution when you aim to provide faster images.

The main attraction of Xiaomi’s X Pro Qled series this year is the filmmaker or FMM mode. Xiaomi claims that it is supposed to display any content (with the exception of game content) from any source (Blu-ray discs, streaming or broadcasting) as was planned by the filmmaker. FMM also corrects appearance ratios and image frequencies, preventing any artificial improvement from ruining the film.

Although this seems fanciful, it is essentially an image mode that deactivates all unnecessary modifications such as the insertion of the frame (MEMC improving movement), sharpening or strengthening of colors that occurs in standard image modes or others provided by the TV. The result is a content that seems natural and intact, because it was intended to appear, whether you look at standard definition content or HDR content. The mode can be activated manually (in image settings) or is automatically triggered by metadata in the visualized content.

During my short demo, the Dolby Vision filmmaker mode in the new X Pro series made natural colors in this mode, with a clear weakening and improving movement (or interpolation of movement) deactivated.

In terms of software, Xiaomi patchwall continues to exist. Patchwall and the underlying Android TV worked as planned during demo. However, intelligent televisions (especially affordable those) are known to late once they are starting to age. In the absence of material upgrades compared to previous models, I am a little skeptical about how the new X PRO will age.

The Smart TV experience is fueled by a Cortex A55 Quad-Core processor and a Mali G52 GPU. There are 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, which is identical to what you get on the previous model. The selection of the port also remains the same as before. There are two USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, an AV port, three HDMI ports (one with EARC), a headphone jack and a port for the antenna.

We will thoroughly test the Xiaomi X Pro Qled series in our review. With price labels from RS as low as Rs. 31,999 These televisions, taking into account their Qled panels, seem to be full of features, but consult our detailed opinion before making the jump.
