While the first days of the relatively new Cosmetic type of Fortnite have been dominated by Nike and Jordan, other shoes brands have had the opportunity to participate more recently. As Vans, which will be the next mark to join the Fortnite Kicks alignment when the articles store is restored today at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET.
The players will have the opportunity to catch four distinctive pairs of trucks, including the iconic Slip-Ons. The other three pairs offered will be the old Skool Gum crystal vans, the authentic red trucks and the SK8-Hi navy trucks. All van kicks will cost 800 V-Bucks, and there is no package.
Fortnite’s Kicks Cosmetic had a difficult start when Epic launched the new guy last November. First, its launch was delayed in the last second of November, and when the kicks were finally available, only a relatively small number of skins could even equip them. But those problems are in the past: Fortnite’s only skins that cannot use kicks now are Bender, Fry and Leela de Futurama, for unknown reasons.
Vans is the fifth shoe brand to get involved in Fortnite Kicks, after Nike, Jordan, Adidas and Crocs. Nike and Jordan dominate the selection, with almost 60 pairs of kicks available, while Adidas has a very distant third with 12 pairs. Beyond that, there have also been ten pairs of original kicks of Fortnita and five pairs of crocodiles.
